The upcoming game was revealed in October 2024 alongside a early access event. At the time, 31st Union presented the game as a "free-to-play, third-person perspective roguelike hero shooter and an exciting evolution on the style."
"Build your perfect run—or die trying—in this 3rd-person action shooter! Build your hero in live gameplay to match your preferred approach," the official summary explains. "Take on the competition with unique powers, risks, and obstacles that shift every round. Will you withdraw carefully with your hard-earned loot? Alternatively go big, put it on the line, and trust your team can secure victory? The choice is yours."
Project Ethos does not have an announced release date or platforms, but enthusiasts can expect more updates as development progresses.
